The Bible has much to say about the divine importance placed on relationships and the family structure. The family depicts the very image of the Godhead: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. When God created, he said, “Let us make man in our image.” As his image bearers, we were told to populate the earth and teach our children in the way they should navigate through the darkness that is the world we live in. Prayer is essential for strengthening the marriage and the children that are the extension of that union.
